ETPA Foundation stands for Empowerment and Transformation through Progressive Actions. It is section 8 registered non–profit company. The Foundation aims to empower, transform and improve the lives of people through the intervening areas of,

- Health & education
- Rural livelihoods
It focuses on developing, facilitating, and supporting people, especially in the field of,

- Social justice etc.
It also envisages mobilising poor households into economically independent units and thus empowering them to become self-reliant and independent from financial constraints.
ETPA Foundation is deeply committed to contributing further in the areas of culture and skill development. It has a comprehensive developmental approach with a prime objective to create and support result-oriented activities through communication, collaboration, and convergence to address the pressing social issues of the community.

A Successful journey
2016 - 2020
Humble beginnings with IJK
1. Project on raising awareness on environmental issues with the help of storytelling in India.
2. Fact-finding survey to understand the eco-system of 2020-2022 household-level water supply, sewerage, and drainage systems across 11 cities in India.
3. Data collection survey to understand the crop behavioural pattern and their consumption attitudes across 3 Indian states (Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, & West Bengal)
4. Project Title – Storytelling Caravan to promote the Japanese concept of “Mottainai” meaning do not waste!
2020 - 2022
Multiple campaigns
1. Campaign Title – “Achhi Aadat (Good Habits)” in collaboration with JICA India.
2. SDGs business verification survey with the private sector for spreading Japanese comics empowering women in India
3, Communication interventions with the school children on the principles of 4 R.
2022 - 2024
ETPA created as a separate arm
A separate philanthropic arm – ETPA Foundation for Social Development was created exclusively to implement social projects
1. ‘Mission LiFE’ with Mottainai Grandma’ in the State of Jharkhand in partnership with Ministry of Rural Development
2. Storytelling Sessions on the concept of ‘4R’ (Respect, Reduce, Reuse, & Recycle) *
3. SBCC Project on the importance of resources complementing Mission LiFE in the states of Haryana, Maharashtra, Gujarat and NationalCapital in association with Itochu India Pvt. Ltd and Asahi Intecc Co. Ltd.
4. Extra-curricular Activities in the government schools propagating the judicious and mindful utilisation of resources.

Health & hygiene programs
MOTTAINAI: Swachh Bharat
Under Mottainai swachh bharat campaign, the storytelling session was implemented in the states of Delhi, Haryana, and Gujarat covering 105 schools and reaching directly to 3525 kids in the age group of 09-12 yrs.
Achhi Aadat Campaign
This SDG-6 campaign brought behavioural change & witnessed remarkable success in reaching out to 12 crore+ people in India through different activities in the areas of hygiene & sanitation.
Mottainai: Mission LiFE
This Social Behaviour Change Communication project which also complements SDG 12 aims to mobilise citizens to take individual and collective action to protect & preserve environment and use the resources judiciously.
