Sanjay Panda is the Founder and Managing Director of IJ Kakehashi Services Pvt. Ltd. (IJK) headquartered at New Delhi, India. IJK was founded in the year 2006 and its group organizations work in diverse fields such as consulting, market research, advisory, trading, social sector, and others, with all converging to a single agenda of “Empowering India Japan business and cultural relations”.

Spearheading IJK, Sanjay has created a niche name for IJK truly contributing as a Kakehashi (Bridge in the Japanese language) between I (India) and J (Japan), through services ranging from Market research, Training, Human resource placement, India entry support, and Language services. IJK has catered to the business requirement of more than 500 clients over the years. On many forums, Sanjay has given lectures in India-Japan forums to bring India and Japan closer.

Hailing from the KBK region of Odisha, and empowered with three decades of association with Japan, Sanjay Panda has embarked into new dimensions by setting up KBK GloCal to take local products of KBK to the Global level and ETPA Foundation for Social Development to bring in the change in the society. Youth empowerment, Environment, Education, and Skill development are some of the key issues to be addressed in this domain. For successive years IJK has also partnered with Japanese government agencies like JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) for implementation of the JICA funded projects in India in the education and health hygiene sectors.

In his early professional career, he worked with The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi (now MUFG), Japan, and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in both India and Japan in the sales and business development area.

On the academic front, Sanjay did graduation from V.D. College, Jeypore, Odisha before doing intensive Japanese language courses at Delhi University, and then Tokyo Gakugei University under the Mombusho fellowship. He holds some highest levels of proficiency certifications in the Japanese language to his credit and with his extraordinary interpretation skills he has facilitated several bilateral engagements at the highest-level engagements between India and Japan.

Hailing from Nabarangpur, Odisha, from a family of theatre and cinema artists, he has interest in theatres and committed to contribute to society at large through his rich experience.
